Why Level 1 - Trial Version is also for every drummer
Level 1 sounds like it's just for beginners. It's in fact for drummers of all levels. Yes, it's the book (or combinations of many books) I would've loved to help me as a young drummer. But it still helps me till this day to keep things in perspective.
And I don't just mean the back to basics side. Every rhythmical idea, no matter how advanced, is based on this structure. So every rhythmic idea can be enhanced, diversified, and ultimately used to improvise over, using the systems in Level 1.

What is the difference between the Full Version and the Trial Version of Level 1?
About 2300 pages. You'll get the first paragraph for FREE. If you like it you can by the full ersion whenever you like by upgrading your upgrade in MySDL.
How should I study from Level 1 Trial Version?
The basic idea is to work out the different time feels from G1-G9 a.s.a.p. But there is no one way, only your way. However, we encourage you to view Level 1 as a 3D method as much as possible.
1. Left to Right (Chapters/Time feels)
2. Top to bottom (Paragraphs/Subjects)
3. Front to back (Parts/Grooves, Fills, Tips etc.)
Do I need to be able to read music?
No, you'll learn this as you go. Theory is not our main focus. And we think it should never be. It's a good idea to learn it but always remember that there was music first, music notation second. Not the other way around.
I feel overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of Level 1. What should I do?
First breathe in and out deeply a few times. Feel better? Good. Level 1 is meant as an encyclopedia of drumming and rhythm exercises. Who's to say what's the correct order, or how long it should take you to absorb all the knowledge inside? You decide. If you need help, try sending us an email or visit a local teacher.
