Rudiment #39
Double Ratamacue
The Double Ratamacue (#39 of the 40 P.A.S. certified essential or standard rudiments) is another compound rudiment. It's comprised of a Drag and a double grace note in front of a Single Stroke Four ending on an accent in 6/8. So you could say it's a combination of two Drags and a Single Stroke 4. This is a hand-to-hand pattern which means it alternates between starting on the Right Hand and the Left Hand.
